\u00c1ngeles de Chimbote obtained the prize in the professional category of the &#8220;HIP\u00d3LITO UNANUE AWARD FOR THE BEST SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN HEALTH SCIENCES &#8211; 2023&#8221; contest, for the research work entitled &#8220;Genetic Characterization of High Risk Individuals from a Low Resource City in Peru&#8221;, awarded by the Hip\u00f3lito Unanue Institute Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ULADECH Cat\u00f3lica assumed the financing of the research as part of its scientific production, which was executed in the city of Chimbote in 2018 and 2019, having as mentor the researcher Dr. Mev Dom\u00ednguez Valent\u00edn and as co-authors the researchers Maria Palacios Palacios Palacios, Liz Zevallos Escobar and Edisson V\u00e1squez Corales, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hipolito Unanue Institute Foundation is an institution created more than 55 years ago that brings together national and foreign laboratories, who reward the talent of the country&#8217;s researchers in order to promote research, teaching and scientific dissemination of health sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The XXVIII edition of the Hipolito Unanue Award to the best scientific research work in the country will be held on Wednesday, November 22 in the city of Lima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three research professors from
