The Rector of the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Los \u00c1ngeles de Chimbote, Pbro. Dr. Juan Roger Rodr\u00edguez Ruiz, made a valuable cultural contribution by participating in the book “Educaci\u00f3n Intercultural y Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas en Am\u00e9rica Latina”, by V\u00edctor Adri\u00e1n D\u00edaz Esteves, published by Ariadna Ediciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work addresses the complex relationship between intercultural education and public policies in Latin America, and will be presented in several countries of the continent. Our rector, together with scholars and academics from different countries, analyzes the challenges to integrate interculturality in educational public policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Chapter 7 of the book, Rodr\u00edguez Ru\u00edz examines rural education and the impacts of the National Education Project 2021. He points out that, despite efforts to adapt the educational model to social demands, it is crucial to improve the initial training of teachers so that they can take advantage of the inter-learning opportunities offered by heterogeneity in the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book, which includes experiences from Argentina, Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile and Peru, extols the name of ULADECH Catholic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This book is essential for researchers and education professionals interested in improving intercultural education in Latin America, providing a solid theoretical framework supported by practical examples and critical analysis of existing policies.
