For his contributions to the knowledge and development of the country
The Universidad Católica Los Ángeles de Chimbote has a considerable number of Renacyt teachers, and Dr. Nilo Velásquez Castillo, a research teacher at the Professional School of Education, is one of them. Precisely because of his contributions to the development of the country, he has been nominated to receive recognition from the Congress of the Republic.
The ceremony will take place on the occasion of the 203rd Anniversary of the Political Creation of the Department of Ancash, this Friday, February 23rd, at 3:00 pm, in the Alberto Andrade Carmona auditorium, located in the Juan Santos Atahualpa building of the Legislative Palace.
Dr. Nilo Velásquez will receive the distinction in the category: Academics and Education; for his professional development, academic experience, Renacyt researcher and for his contributions to the knowledge and development of the country.
Our university professor obtained the qualification of researcher in December 2023, after having passed the evaluation of CONCYTEC and belongs to the National Scientific, Technological and Technological Innovation Register – RENACYT. He also holds a PhD in Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching and Educational Management. Undergraduate and postgraduate university lecturer; undergraduate and postgraduate thesis advisor. He develops lines of research in Academic Management, Learning Management, Management in Evaluation Processes, Management in Accreditation Processes, etc.
In addition, he is the author of articles in indexed research journals; participant in national and international internships; recognised with the gold and silver medal in the Kiwie 2023 International Invention Competition patent award, among other achievements.
