The Pontifical Commission for Latin America and Loyola University Chicago will host an extraordinary event: a synodal encounter between Pope Francis and university students from the Asia-Pacific region. This global and spontaneous dialogue will focus on the opportunities and challenges facing young people and the Church in today’s world.
The event will take place on June 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM Rome time (7:00 PM in Jakarta, 10:00 PM in Brisbane, and 7:00 AM in Colombia). This synodal meeting will be a unique opportunity to hear and share the experiences of university youth with Pope Francis, highlighting the importance of the youth voice in the Church and in contemporary society.
