¿Why study Obstetrics?
Studying Obstetrics will enable you to offer support to women from conception to the postnatal stage of the newborn. You will be trained with a high humanistic component and vocation of service for the prevention and promotion of sexual and reproductive health of women, family and community.

At the end of their professional training, the graduates of the Midwifery Professional Career have the following profile:
- Applies scientific, humanistic and spiritual knowledge, with ethical, social and civic responsibility.
- Manages in professional performance spaces to solve problems contributing to improve the sexual and reproductive health of the population.
- Provides guidance in sexual and reproductive health to contribute to improve the wellbeing of women, family and community.
- Properly and pertinently uses information technologies in the context of their profession.
- Communicates in a foreign language, preferably English.
- Evaluates the situation of sexual and reproductive health in the country through research.
- Proposes development and innovation in the field of action of their profession.
- Demonstrates soft skills in their professional performance.
Requirements for degrees and titles
- Application in the Single Processing Format (FUT), addressed to the Rector.
- Receipt of payment of the corresponding fees.
- Two (02) updated passport size color photographs, with formal clothes, without glasses and white background.
- Thesis or research work, in digital file or pdf format, as appropriate.
- Copy of valid ID card.
