In a gesture of faith and hope, Los Angeles Catholic University of Chimbote is preparing for a Prayer Vigil, with the objective of raising prayers for the favorable process of institutional licensing.
This event, which will take place next Monday, May 13, is a call to the academic community and the general public to unite in faith, after the authorities of this higher education institution made tireless efforts to adapt its educational system to the rigorous standards of the 1.5 model required by Sunedu; an effort that seeks not only to comply with the regulations, but also to ensure the quality of education and protect the future of thousands of students.
From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the doors of the ULADECH Católica Convention Center will be open to welcome students, teachers, non-teaching staff, graduates and all those who wish to pray with us.
It should be noted that in September 2023, ULADECH Católica began the process of applying for institutional licensing before the National Superintendence of Higher University Education (Sunedu). Since then, the institution has dedicated all its resources to make significant improvements, ranging from updating curricula to modernizing infrastructure and educational resources. Following the inspections carried out by Sunedu, it is now awaiting a final decision on its licensing.
The Prayer Vigil represents an opportunity for the university community to unite in an act of deep religiosity and conviction. It is a call to prayer, unity, unwavering faith and steadfast hope for the future of ULADECH Catholic. The entire population is cordially invited to participate in this solemn event and demonstrate their unconditional support to the university on its way to the long-awaited institutional licensing.
