In merit of the institutional commitment with its environment, the Universidad Católica Los Ángeles de Chimbote signed a cooperation agreement with the District Municipality of Santa, an alliance that will allow both institutions to join efforts to carry out research, extension and social projection activities for the benefit of the inhabitants of that city.
The signing of the agreement took place on October 20 of this year in the auditorium of the District Municipality of Santa, with the presence of representatives of both institutions; the mayor, Alex Edward Motta Borjas, was present on behalf of the municipality and the rector Dr. Pbro. Juan Roger Rodríguez Ruiz, representing the Catholic ULADECH, represented the ULADECH.
It should be noted that ULADECH Católica carries out social responsibility activities throughout the year in a sustained manner, for which it annually allocates 2% of its total budget, an investment that is used by its Social Responsibility Office, responsible for planning and implementing activities that contribute to the sustainable development of the planet and help vulnerable groups, with the aim of contributing to the solution of problems in their environment.
